My 5 Favorite Seattle Wedding Venues for Floral Installations

Finding the perfect wedding venue is the first major step of wedding planning. From unique spaces to beautiful views, Seattle offers an array of options for couples looking to tie the knot. As a wedding florist, I love creating breathtaking floral installations that complement the venue's ambiance and make the ceremony and reception more memorable. In this blog post, I'm sharing my top 5 Seattle wedding venues for floral installations. Whether you're looking for an industrial vibe or a waterfront setting, there's a venue on this list that will inspire your dream wedding.

WithinSodo

WithinSodo is an industrial venue that offers a unique backdrop for floral installations. The exposed brick walls, high ceilings, and concrete floors lend a modern feel to any wedding. As a florist, I love creating impactful installations against an industrial style building. A full floral arch or a hanging installation above the guest tables is sure to transform the space.

JM Cellars

For a moody yet cozy vibe, JM Cellars is the perfect venue. The dark walls and wooden wine barrels contrast with the lush green trees make you feel like you’re in a treehouse. We loved creating for a styled shoot that featured sophisticated neutrals to play off the dark building. Many color palettes would work well with the venue aesthetics and we recommend keeping that in mind when choosing a palette.

Sodo Park

If you're looking for a venue with dramatic high ceilings, Sodo Park is the perfect choice. This former manufacturing warehouse boasts industrial vibes, exposed beams, and vintage light fixtures, making it the ideal space for grand floral installations. Imagine a dramatic ceremony arch adorned with lush greenery or a suspended installation of colorful flowers and foliage hovering over the dance floor.

Edgewater Hotel

With the stunning water views of the Puget Sound, the Edgewater Hotel offers a romantic and serene backdrop for your wedding. A beautiful floral ceremony installation surrounded by the blue waters and the mountains in the distance, will set the tone for an unforgettable celebration. The hotel has a rich history and famously hosted many musical “greats” such as Led Zeppelin and The Beatles.

The Admiral's House

The Admiral's House is a historical property in Magnolia with iconic Seattle views. The clear top tent is the perfect blank canvas for hanging flower installations. The tent also provides a neutral backdrop, allowing the floral designs to take center stage and works with any color palette.

Seattle has some of the most unique and beautiful wedding venues, providing endless possibilities for stunning floral installations. The venues on this list are just a few of my favorites that offer distinct vibes and ample space to create impactful floral installations. When selecting your venue, be sure to keep in mind the ambiance, space, and natural light, as these are all essential elements when it comes to designing your floral installations.
