Benefits of buying locally grown flowers

Have you ever wondered where flowers are grown? Buying locally grown flowers not only supports the local community's economy, but it also reduces carbon emissions from transportation. Plus, buying from local farmers ensures that we're getting fresh blooms instead of ones that have been shipped from across the world. Local flowers also tend to be more unique and have a certain charm to them. And let's not forget about the feeling you get from knowing you're supporting small businesses and farmers. We’re proud to offer a selection of locally grown flowers as part of our unique Mother’s Day offerings.

  1. Ranunculus

Spring is here and that means it's time for everyone's favorite floral showstopper - ranunculus! These quintessential spring flowers are the perfect addition to any bouquet, with their full and flouncy ruffled petals in a variety of vibrant colors. Locally grown ranunculus have a great vase life and we will absolutely be including them in our designs.

2. Delphinium

Delphinium are simply stunning! What sets them apart from other flowers is their rare sky blue color. It's not every day that you come across a flower with such a unique shade. Delphiniums also have a reputation for lasting a long time in a vase, which means you can enjoy their beauty for well over a week. We’ll be including delphinium in our funky Aviation-inspired palette.

3. Feverfew daisies

Feverfew daisies also known as chamomile—with their bright yellow petals and cheerful demeanor, they never fail to put a smile on my face. And the best part? They have a long vase life, meaning you can enjoy their beauty for days on end. These will be included in all of our cocktail-inspired palettes.

4. Stock

Stock flowers have fluffy blooms that just scream "springtime!" But the best part is its fragrance - it's spicy and warm, with a clove-like scent. If the mom in your life loves fragrant flowers, this is a great pick to include in your bouquet or arrangement.

5. Calla lilies

These elegant and timeless flowers are the perfect springtime flower. Their sophisticated, trumpet-shaped blossoms are simply stunning and come in a range of colors. We’ll be including them in white for our neutral “French 75” palette.
