Ethereal Garden Wedding at Fox Hollow | Issaquah, WA
Jordan and Paul's wedding at Fox Hollow in Issaquah, Washington was nothing short of a fairytale romance come to life. Set in the heart of the Pacific Northwest and only a short drive from Seattle, their late summer wedding embraced an elegant cottagecore aesthetic. From the hydrangea baskets to the clear top tent, it was a light and dreamy affair in an ethereal garden setting that made an unforgettable evening for the couple and their guests.
Jordan’s bouquet was petite as is the trend for our 2023 clients. We only utilized ivory and blush flowers for her bouquet, omitting the dusty blue accent found elsewhere. We showcased locally grown lisianthus, garden roses, and scabiosa as well as other flowers. Her bouquet was finished with trailing silk in a light champagne color. Jordan’s maid of honor bouquet was petite and simple, made from gorgeous textural white hydrangea and finished with trailing blush silk.
The color palette of the wedding was a classic blend of ivory, blush, sage, sky, and silver, creating a light and airy vibe. The color and flower selection perfectly complemented the surrounding gardens, resulting in a gorgeous backdrop for an unforgettable wedding night. The classic color palette was chic and timeless, but created a unique vibe when combined with the cottagecore aesthetic.
The main flowers used in the floral design were roses, garden roses, lisianthus, and several varieties of hydrangea. This combination created the perfect balance of textures, colors, and elegance. The flowers were designed to blend seamlessly with the other elements at the wedding, like the hydrangea shrubs that filled the venue’s gardens. Two groupings of baskets filled with hydrangea created a beautiful aisle entrance with lush greenery and blooms adorning the chuppah made for a stunning ceremony design.
The romantic chuppah design was created using only a few flowers and foliages, featuring roses and hydrangeas create the perfect backdrop next to the bubbling brook. The chuppah was draped with airy white linen while the flowers added texture and dimension on the front of the structure.
The reception flowers consisted of elegant bud vases that showcased simple stems with one flower variety in each for maximum impact. When placed in groups, they made the tables feel lush and were intentionally styled on silver-y linens with runners on top for additional texture. The bud vases were paired with white pillar candles, pleated votives, and touches of greenery, which added a warm and cozy atmosphere that filled the entire reception space.
The clear top tent was the perfect setting for the reception. The tent featured elegant chandeliers that created a dreamy atmosphere, while keeping the tent roof mostly clear for star gazing. The clear tent surrounded by the lush gardens full of hydrangea shrubs and other plants created a secluded, romantic ambiance to celebrate.
Jordan and Paul's ethereal garden wedding at Fox Hollow in Issaquah, Washington, showcased timeless and chic design which worked together seamlessly. This breathtaking wedding is the perfect inspiration for every engaged couple looking for a Seattle florist to create a dreamy and magical wedding of their own.
