MODERN AND INDUSTRIAL WEDDING VENUE IN FREMONT
We love the modern, industrial vibes of the Fremont Foundry and how it interacts with natural decor like flowers! This edgy city venue in the heart of a trendy Seattle neighborhood would lend itself well to a variety of color palettes and floral designs. There are several spaces within the venue that you can utilize for your big day whether it’s indoors in the Atrium or on the rooftop terrace that overlooks Seattle.
COLOR PALETTES
We love the earthy, boho vibes contrasting with cool pastel hues. It’s SO unique and could really be used any time of the year. It’s the perfect balance of the trendy, earthy brown colors contrasting with breezy lavender and blue. Lavender hues are abundant in flowers but toffee and sky can be a bit harder to find. Lean into those hues more when it comes to signage, ribbon, candles, and paper goods.
Looking for a bold but harmonious wedding palette? We LOVE monochromatic floral palettes which means all the flowers are different tints and shades of one color—in this case we’re thinking RED. Picture bold shades of pink and red mixed with romantic hues of blush and cream. This will make a statement while still feeling intentional. The flower selection can be tailored to your preferences. For example if you’re looking for something more moody, include darker shades like burgundy. But maybe for a spring wedding, you want more pastels with pops of bold color. Chat with your florist about how to customize a monochromatic palette for your Seattle wedding.
All white everything. Mostly classic except for there is no green anywhere. When we say all white, we mean all white. This would be a such a chic palette in a venue like the Fremont Foundry because it would contrast beautifully against the neutral greys and browns. We would only recommend this if your photographer’s editing style is true to color or slightly moody, otherwise the light blooms will get lost in a very bright and airy photo. We’re thinking shades of white, ivory, cream, and maybe a touch of light grey for dimension.
CEREMONY FLOWERS
This modern ceremony backdrop design would be PERFECT for the industrial vibes at Fremont Foundry. The industrial-like grid contrasts so well with the organic lines of the flowers and foliage. This backdrop design could be utilized whether the ceremony is indoors or out and can easily be repurposed behind the newlyweds’ table or elsewhere in the reception space. When we’re coming up with design concepts for your wedding florals, we’re always considering the venue aesthetics to make sure it feels cohesive.
RECEPTION FLOWERS
We love vignettes at a wedding that include a perfect pairing of custom signage and florals, and the bar is no exception. This combination of artistry really pulls the details together and creates a curated, intentional look. We are obsessed with this linen bar signage paired with florals on the bar and next to the sign. It creates a focal point at the bar, which you know your guests will be visiting all night long. We always encourage our couples to think about statement pieces within your reception space to invest in and the bar is a perfect spot.

STYLING IDEAS
You can never go wrong with adding candles to your tablescape design, but let’s take it up a notch with textured candles! These ivory textured candles are lovely and modern. Consider this in lieu of colorful candles depending on the vibe you’re going for. The geometric nature of these candles would be perfect for the modern, industrial vibes of the Fremont Foundry. Then contrast that with lush blooms on all your guest tables and it’s perfection.
