elegant garden wedding venue in snohomish

Bella Luna Farms is a gorgeous venue in Snohomish, Washington—just 30 minute outside of Seattle!. We love the quaint European-style architecture and lush garden setting. The venue is beautiful on its own and would mesh well with lots of natural decor elements, aka flowers!

COLOR PALETTES

This venue has big Bridgerton energy on face value—so we say, why not lean into it even more? Lots of soft colors would be right at home for a Washington spring or summer wedding in Snohomish. While the possibilities of pastel combinations are endless, we pulled a few together for this example which includes butter, coral, and lavender.

Maybe you’re more into the “au natural” look and we can get behind that. Take a classic green and white wedding and add touches of butter, cream and honey for a simple but sophisticated look. The neutral tones will keep it classic, but add dimension. Sometimes all white wedding flowers can get lost in photos, particularly if your photographer’s editing style is on the “bright and airy” side.

For something a little funkier and unexpected, we’re really digging this palette with peach, sky, and toffee. This palette could really work at any of the year, I would just adjust the proportions of each color based on the season. For spring, I would lean into more of those bright peach and pale sky blues with accents of toffee and terra cotta. For an autumn wedding, I would do the inverse. For a winter wedding, I would lean into more shades of blue, with the terra cotta and toffee tones as secondary colors, and peach would be a tertiary accent. All of this to say, you can take one color palette and execute it in many, many different ways.

CEREMONY FLOWERS

This wild, unruly wedding arch would be right at home at a garden ceremony at Bella Luna Farms. We’re really digging the simplicity and short ingredient list of this design, but on a classically shaped arch. Our goal is to always propose and create designs that make sense within the space we’re working with. We want to work with the space and not against it. For a truly luxe and lush look, add an aisle meadow that leads up to the arch.

RECEPTION FLOWERS

We LOVE the flexibility that comes with long tables at a wedding reception. There are so many ways to flower and style them—the possibilities are truly endless. We love the end cap arrangements which make a big impact, while keeping plenty of space on the tables for food and wine. I would still recommend some simple decor on the tabletop such as bud vases and candles. These types of arrangements are perfect used as aisle flowers and then can easily be repurposed at the reception in a similar fashion.

STYLING IDEAS

There are lot of beautiful elements in this tablescape design, but I particularly love the pop of color that comes from the napkins. It works so well with the earthy wood farm table and also plays off the floral palette. Napkins can add a lot of color and texture to the table with the right selection, and is less overwhelming than a full size linen. It might seem like a small detail but it can really add visual interest.
